Government Subsidy Program
Project Overview
Goal
Distribute systems that converge new energy technologies like ESS and EMS to industrial facilities (industrial complexes, etc.) to enhance energy efficiency and enhance their competitiveness
Project Details
Establishing Microgrids for Industrial Facilities
- Major Content – Establish microgrids for industrial facilities by distributing 7MWh ESS & EMS systems (with capacities ranging from 0.5MWh to 2MWh at 5 or more locations)
- Support Subject – Small-sized industrial power consumers with contract capacities of 300kW or more, industrial complexes, etc.
- Expected Outcome – Reduce energy cost burdens for businesses and improve overall national power consumption by mitigating excessive power peaks that occur during processes of industrial facilities
Establishing Microgrids for Industrial Facilities
- Major content – Establish a convergence system for commercial facilities by distributing 3.5MWh ESS & EMS systems in commercial facilities (with capacities ranging from 0.5MWh to 1MWh at 5 or more locations)
- Support Subject – Small, general power consumers with contract capacities of 300kW or more
- Expected Outcome – Minimize damage caused by unexpected power supply interruptions in commercial facilities and improve the overall environment
Expected Outcomes
Reduce peak demand and avoid the establishment of additional power generation, transmission, and transformation electric power facilities through improvements in the power consumption
Achieve cost savings in electricity bills by improving the energy efficiency through the ESS and EMS and managing electricity demand
Improve the ability to respond to power supply crises by expanding the capacity of demand management resources and improving reliability
